Meet Your Teachers


Mrs.Frances

I was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. I received my undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and a Masters degree in Special Education from Auburn University. This is my 10th year teaching!! This is my 7th year at Frankie Lemmon. Before coming to Frankie Lemmon, I taught Kindergarten. I’m looking forward to being back in the Kindergarten classroom :). When I’m not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my husband, my 1 year old, Tommy, and our wild dog, Willie! I am look forward to having a wonderful year together helping your child learn and grow! 

Ms. LaShonda 

This is my second year at Frankie Lemmon. My professional experience includes working as a Teacher Assistant in Wake County Public Schools for over 20 years in the ECS, OCS and BST programs. I have one beautiful daughter, Ashley,  whom I adore. I also have someone special in my life, Antonio, that I get to share so many amazing things with. Especially, our love for cars. “Different, not less.” by  Temple Grandin.


Mr. Isreal


Hello! This will be my 3rd year at Frankie Lemmon and my second year in the Limes class. My professional experience includes working as a Habilitation Technician and as a personal Caregiver. I was born in Hidalgo, Mexico. I have a wonderful fiance named Ruben and we have our dog Anubis and our two crazy cats Sylvester and Sakamoto

 December     December has been a fun, full month in the Limes! We started the month with our Gingerbread theme and then learned about different Holidays. The pretend play center was transformed into a Gingerbread Bakery. It was a favorite! We added a Holiday tree to the center and they loved putting ornaments on it. They had the opportunity to build gingerbread houses in the block center as well. We counted gingerbread men and we tried gingerbread cookies. We learned about Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. We made patterns with Christmas objects and worked together in art to make a classroom Christmas tree. We talked about being kind and giving. We discussed ways we could be kind. This was my favorite activity of all! I loved seeing what they came up! September Newsletter

  September Newsletter            September has been such a WONDERFUL month in the Limes Class. We've really enjoyed getting to know the kids. They are a very smart bunch and they LOVE to learn. They have really enjoyed Morning Meeting, Letterland and Math.     This month we've really focused on counting, identifying numbers and identifying shapes. They are rocking it! We've also been focusing on identifying details in familiar stories and participating during story time by answering questions.  We will continue focusing on these skills throughout the quarter.       Art and the Pretend Play centers seem to the be most popular with the students. They have loved using all different types of materials to make art. We have done several collaborative art projects and it's been so great to see them work together.
