February Update
February was a SHORT month in the Limes class with all the snow days and sickness. I hope that by the time you are all reading this, you're feeling better! Our theme this month was called A Time for Peace. We discussed ways we could be peacekeepers and we learned about famous peacekeepers. We also celebrated Valentine's Day. The students LOVED passing out Valentine's to their friends. Math- We've focused on classifying objects by different attributes (ex: long, short, heavy, light, big, small). We've also continued working on identifying whether the number of objects in one group is more than, less than or equal to the number of objects in another group when the quantities are clearly different. Literacy- We've continued working on letter identification and letter sounds. Letterland continues to be a class favorite! We are working on identifying rhyming words and counting syllables in words.
