February was a SHORT month in the Limes class with all the snow days and sickness. I hope that by the time you are all reading this, you're feeling better! Our theme this month was called A Time for Peace. We discussed ways we could be peacekeepers and we learned about famous peacekeepers. We also celebrated Valentine's Day. They had the opportunity to build gingerbread houses in the block center as well. We counted gingerbread men and we tried gingerbread cookies. We learned about Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. We made patterns with Christmas objects and worked together in art to make a classroom Christmas tree. We talked about being kind and giving. We discussed ways we could be kind.
